This summer has been the strongest summer for developing hurricanes. Many homes have been destroyed along with numerous buildings. The count of people that died have been outrageous. Hurricane Florence was a pretty strong hurricane that hit North Carolina and South Carolina. The typhoon that struck Hong Kong and China was the strongest typhoon that ever hit that area. Hong Kong has never even experienced a typhoon this fierce. The craziest thing was that North Carolina and South Carolina when hurricane Florence approached most people had left these areas and barely anyone remained behind. This summer the hurricanes estimated cost $265 billion in damages during a year that shattered all records for U.S. economic losses due to severe weather. We are sure that more hurricanes and tropical storms will develop due to potential warming of the planet.
