I find it amazing how dust from the Saharan desert made it over to the Caribbean and Texas . It became a national pollution day from the pollution effecting the air making hazardous breathing conditions for Texas. Haze was shown from GOES-16 geostationary satellite sitting 22 thousand miles above the planet . Every year a plume of dust spreads across the atlantic ocean and it is not uncommon. In fact hundreds of millions of soil comes from the Saharan desert a year.
